Capstone Project

Posted by Dustin Biery on December 10, 2009 at 12:11 PM

Hey everyone, I know there isn't much traffic here currently, but hope that will pick up soon.  Just wanted to share my final project for my Bachelors degree program.  I am doing an extensive reseach project on how to minimize the number of breeds on the Society for Preservation of Poultry Antiquities and National Livestock Breed Conservancy critical lists.  If anyone has any insight as to the breeds that are curently listed or how they think they would best be removed from this list, please share.

Raven, please re-read the section on my project. There is absolutely nothing said about ending traditions, I simply want to help preserve what is here before it is too late. I have other sources on raising gamefowl without going to Sabong. If your intent is to cause trouble, please just move along. If you would like to provide comments that are suggestive and constructive, please do so, however do not come on my site and attack my project or my beliefs. I am raising gamefowl because I enjoy the breeds and they provide way more entertainment than the usual heavy breeds. Once again, if you want to enjoy the site an be helpful, that is fine. If you are trolling, go somewhere else.

hi!buddy!! sorry if say something not good. you wanted to have good sales for your study? dont breed orientals cause there is no good market for it. breed American birds like kelso, hatch, roundhead, claret or grey. then sell it to the internet. i am sure you'll have good sale. just advertise that your selling for breeding purposes only. try to visit this site for you to have idea,,,http://bamasportfarm.com/ hope it will help you!

I raise orientals because I like them and they need help, not because of the market. FYI, if you think there isn't a market for Orientals, you need to do some more research. American games are way too common for me....
