Biery Hill Poultry Farm

Drawing to a close

As any of you have followed this story, you probably realize it is quickly culminating in dramatic fashion. I have submitted my Strategic Management paper for assessment, which means another class down.  Tonight I start 5 weeks of Business Ethics, something all breeders should know about--but not only at a business level.  When I started this course study, I never thought it would lead me to a senior project based on my birds and what I am trying to do, but I cannot complain because it has.  This has given me much needed time to think and reflect on what I have done and where I am going.

I never thought I would be looking for the next step, but I have found myself looking at Masters degree programs.  Thought this would be my only option to move forward into the next phase of my life.  I thought about going back to where it all began with a Masters in Agriculture Education, but I really feel that my degree is leading me more towards a Masters in Agriculture Business.  Im not sure I am ready to take the step yet, but I am planning on making it so that when I leap, I wont have far to fall.

Thanks to everyone who has supported this process and helped me along the way.  Things wouldn't be what they are today if I didn't have great friends and family.
